Basketball Recap: Douglass Trojans vs. Bryant Hornets
Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bryant Hornets.
Bryant was led to victory by RJ Young and RJ Newton. Young dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Newton had 11 points plus six rebounds and five assists. The contest was Young's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bryant, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Douglass and Bentonville will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
