Baseball Recap: Christian Educational Consortium Comes Up Short

Christian Educational Consortium suffered their biggest loss since April 8th on Tuesday. They lost 14-4 to the Eastern Eagles. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Terrell Heick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Christian Educational Consortium's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Eastern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Coming up, Christian Educational Consortium will be playing at home against Assumption Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Assumption Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something Christian Educational Consortium will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Eastern, they will head out on the road to challenge Henry Clay at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
