Recap: Enka Jets vs. T.C. Roberson Rams
The Enka Jets suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 79-49 loss at the hands of T.C. Roberson. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Enka has suffered against T.C. Roberson since February 4, 2020.
When it comes to explaining why Enka lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sam Waddell. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Trantham, who scored 11 points.
Max McDowell was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with five assists and three steals for T.C. Roberson. LaRon Mills was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and three steals.
Enka bumped their record down to 7-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for T.C. Roberson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enka will take on Asheville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for T.C. Roberson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Erwin at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
