Basketball Recap: Woodruff Wolverines vs. Broome Centurions
Woodruff lost against Broome back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Woodruff Wolverines took a 48-34 bruising from the Broome Centurions. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Broome's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Miller, who posted ten points along with five assists and five rebounds. Those five boards gave Miller a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Ramirez, who earned 12 points and six rebounds.
Woodruff's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Broome, their record now sits at 10-11.
