Softball Recap: Dripping Springs Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Dripping Springs rose to the challenge on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the O'Connor Panthers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sadie Bradford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

At the plate, Dripping Springs secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Lorelei Gamble, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Dripping Springs' win bumped their record up to 26-8-1. As for O'Connor, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 21-3.

Dripping Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
