Soccer Game Preview: Combs vs. Eastmark

The Combs Coyotes will square off against the Eastmark Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Combs' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Eastmark has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Combs fell victim to ALA - Gilbert North and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Coyotes haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Eastmark also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to Hamilton on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Firebirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Huskies are ranked 11th).

Combs' loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Eastmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1.
