Volleyball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Riverview Sharks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Robinson was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Robinson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alana Strahm had 14 digs and four assists.

Nicollette Haya was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and two aces.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Riverview, their record is now 4-5.

Coming up, Robinson will be playing at home against Hillsborough at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverview, they will take on Spoto at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Sharks surely won't give up without a fight.
