Basketball Game Preview: Knightstown Panthers vs. Seton Catholic Cardinals

Knightstown is 0-3 against Seton Catholic since December of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Knightstown Panthers face off against the Seton Catholic Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Knightstown took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They blew past Union City, posting a 56-23 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since February 3rd.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 70-63 to Anderson Prep Academy. One positive for the Cardinals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Knightstown's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Seton Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Knightstown lost to Seton Catholic at home by a decisive 50-34 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Thankfully for Knightstown, Mason Harvey (who shot 5-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards) won't be suiting up this time.
