Volleyball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

The Madison County Cowboys came up short against the Maclay Marauders on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-8, 25-17.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Maclay, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Madison County will challenge Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Cowboys their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Maclay, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lincoln on the 25th.
