Football Recap: El Cajon Valley Comes Up Short

The El Cajon Valley Braves were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 18-12 to the Southwest SD Raiders. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

El Cajon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southwest SD, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, El Cajon Valley will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against University City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest SD, they will venture away from home to challenge Logan Memorial Education Campus at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
