Mountain Valley lost to Oak Hill back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Falcons walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Raiders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Addison Libby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kyanah Wing, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Gammon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mountain Valley's record now sits at 3-1. As for Oak Hill, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Valley will host Mount Abram at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Roadrunners at the right time seeing as the Roadrunners are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oak Hill, they will square off against Lewiston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
