Boulder City had won 15 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 28-8 to make it 16. They blew past the Desert Pines Jaguars 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

As for Desert Pines, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Desert Pines lost, don't look at Kevin Pacheco Jimenez. Despite the final result, he had seven assists and four digs.

Boulder City and Desert Pines are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, the Eagles and Somerset Academy Losee will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Desert Pines, they will head out to challenge Virgin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on May 6.
