Volleyball Recap: Berthoud's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games + How To Watch

If Berthoud was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Thompson Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Timnath Cubs on Thursday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cubs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-20, 18-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Avery Tychsen paced Berthoud's offense, picking up 14 kills. Tychsen got some help from Libby Wilson and her 28 assists.

Timnath found their leader in sophomore Alexah Kejr, who had nine digs and one assist.

Having lost for the first time this season, Berthoud fell to 14-1. As for Timnath, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Berthoud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Silver Creek on the 11th. As for Timnath, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Northridge on the 14th.
