Basketball Recap: Staples Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westhill on Monday, Staples came back down to earth. The Staples Wreckers came up short against the Ridgefield Tigers on Tuesday, falling 58-38. The Wreckers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Staples' defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Ridgefield, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ridgefield beat Staples by a score of 58-38 on Wednesday.
