Grant is a perfect 6-0 against McClatchy since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Grant will host McClatchy at 6:00 p.m. Grant will be strutting in after a win while McClatchy will be coming in after a loss.

Grant is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since March 13th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cordova, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pacers.

Grant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-7.

Meanwhile, McClatchy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Kennedy.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

McClatchy's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Grant, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Grant skirted past McClatchy 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Grant repeat their success, or does McClatchy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
