Volleyball Recap: Frederick Force Takes a Loss

After flying high against Varsity Opponent last Friday, Frederick Force came back down to earth. Frederick Force fell 2-0 to the Grace Academy Knights on Friday. Frederick Force has struggled against Grace Academy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Grace Academy was led to victory by Avani Vemuri and Anjali Vemuri. Avani had five digs and four aces, while Anjali had nine digs. That's the most digs Avani has posted over her last seven matchups.

Frederick Force's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Grace Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

Frederick Force wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Knoxville T on the 25th. As for Grace Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Calumet Christian on the 25th.
