Basketball Recap: Arizona College Prep Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

It's playoff time, and Arizona College Prep had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Desert Mountain Wolves with a sharp 38-18 victory on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Wolves last Thursday, they had to take a 50-47 defeat.

Among those leading the charge was Rylee Buechler, who to rack up 12 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylee Aulds, who posted nine points and five boards.

Arizona College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. Desert Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 8-16.

Looking ahead, Arizona College Prep will square off against Campo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th. Desert Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
