Baseball Recap: Buhl Indians vs. Filer Wildcats
While Buhl's win against Filer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 5-4.

Porter Higley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has become a key player for Buhl: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least ten strikeouts, but 7-9 otherwise. Higley was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-3. Those home runs were his first of the season.
