Baseball Recap: Fresno Takes a Loss

Fresno and Mission Oak squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fresno had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-2. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Fresno's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Mission Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season.

Fresno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mission Oak, they will take on Morro Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
