It was a good run, but Shepherd Hill Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 9-5 to the Shrewsbury Colonials. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonials apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Shepherd Hill Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Shrewsbury, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Shepherd Hill Regional didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-4 victory against Nashoba Regional on the 12th. As for Shrewsbury, they will welcome Westborough at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
