Recap: Everett Crimson Tide vs. Lynn English Bulldogs
The Everett Crimson Tide scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They managed a 65-61 win over Lynn English. Everett's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Despite the loss, Lynn English still got an impressive performance from Pierre Veras, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Kyle Kemembin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Everett's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lynn English, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will finish 2023 at home by hosting Northampton at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northampton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Everett is ranked 15th). As for Lynn English, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome St. Mary's at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
