Volleyball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Athens saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar Raiders. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Athens now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lamar, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Athens will welcome Ardmore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Fairhope on the 23rd.
