Soccer Recap: Grandview Finishes Even with Northfield

For the first time since back in March, Grandview was forced to settle for a draw on Saturday. Neither they nor the Northfield Nighthawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Allie Smith and Katarina Charles scored both of Grandview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

With that draw, Grandview's record moves to 5-4-2. Meanwhile, Northfield's record is now 6-0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview will head out to square off against Cherry Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview's defense better be ready for this one: Cherry Creek have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Northfield, they are taking a road trip to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
