Baseball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

If Frontier was riding high fresh off their 19-11 takedown of Wilson-Henryetta on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 7-3 to the Carney Bulldogs on Thursday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Frontier has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Carney, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Carney wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-3 win against Wilson-Henryetta on the 23rd. Hopefully Frontier paid attention to the Bulldogs' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
