Basketball Game Preview: North Charleston Cougars vs. Hampton County Hurricanes

The North Charleston Cougars will take on the Hampton County Hurricanes in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Charleston is looking for their season's first victory.

North Charleston is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Burke on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. North Charleston was beaten by Burke 73-20. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

Meanwhile, Hampton County scored the most points they've had this season last Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Colleton County.

North Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hampton County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
