Volleyball Recap: Assumption Comes Up Short

Assumption lost against Vandebilt Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Terriers.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Vandebilt Catholic scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-18.

Assumption's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Assumption will head out on the road to square off against Lutcher at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Lafourche at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
