Rancho Verde lost against Fontana back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steelers. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fontana was led to victory by Anthony Camacho and Donavan Bacon. Camacho had eight digs, while Bacon had 12 kills and two aces. Bacon has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 23 times he's played.

Rancho Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Fontana, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Rancho Verde will head out on the road to take on JW North at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fontana, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Malibu on the 19th.
