Basketball Game Preview: Carrollton Warriors vs. Salem Quakers

The Carrollton Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Salem Quakers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carrollton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Carrollton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Indian Creek, but they still walked away with a 47-42 victory.

Meanwhile, Salem was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 39-34 to Poland Seminary. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carrollton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Carrollton came out on top in a nail-biter against Salem when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 34-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carrollton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
