Basketball Recap: Chestertown Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Chestertown Christian Academy lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots were outmatched by the Calvary Christian Academy LIONS and fell 47-19. The Patriots were down 42-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Madison Slager and Reagan Harrison, who each put up six points.

Leading Calvary Christian Academy to victory were Diaya Armantrading and Kate Malinky (HS). Armantrading went 7 of 9 en route to 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Malinky (HS) went 6 for 14 to rack up 12 points and seven steals. Armantrading's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leia Sensenig (HS), who posted seven points.

This is the second loss in a row for Chestertown Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chestertown Christian Academy has already played their next match (against Seaside Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-11 victory against Fairwinds Christian on the 30th.
