Basketball Game Preview: Dora Coyotes vs. Elida Tigers

The Dora Coyotes will venture away from home to face off against the Elida Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dora has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 19.

Last Friday, Dora lost to Legacy Academy at home by a 51-34 margin. The Coyotes were down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 71 points the game before, Elida was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were beaten by Legacy Academy 62-25. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Elida, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Dora skirted past Elida 63-60 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Dora have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elida turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
