Baseball Game Preview: Environmental Eagles vs. Baruch College Blue Devils Bearcats

For the second straight game, Environmental will face off against Baruch College. The Eagles will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Blue Devils Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. Environmental has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight losses, while Baruch College will come in with five straight victories.

On Thursday, Environmental came up short against Baruch College and fell 6-1.

For Baruch College's part, Hudson Roberts was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was Roberts' first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Silberstein, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Baruch College's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Environmental, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
