While Frontier Regional's win against Belchertown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Orioles on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Red Hawks in their matchups with the Orioles: they've now won five in a row.

Frontier Regional wouldn't go down easily and took Belchertown into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Tegan Dexter paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up 30 kills. Dexter got some help from Tavo Vincent-Warner and his 49 assists. Nathan Rivera controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Frontier Regional's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Belchertown, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frontier Regional will take on rival Longmeadow at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Belchertown is set to square off against their familiar foe Putnam Vo-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
