Basketball Recap: Carter Falls Despite Big Games from Emma Millington and Caleigh Wilson

Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fulton Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 43-38 loss two weeks ago.

Caleigh Wilson and Emma Millington certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Wilson posted 13 points and five boards, while Millington put up five points and five rebounds. What's more, Wilson posted two steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-24. As for Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fulton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-35 loss against Cocke County on the 22nd.
