Soccer Recap: Mt. Ararat Comes Up Short

Mt. Ararat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lewiston Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Ararat have lost by just one goal.

Mt. Ararat now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Lewiston, they pushed their record up to 8-1-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Mt. Ararat will welcome Hampden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewiston, they will square off against Brewer at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lewiston will be up against Brewer's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
