Basketball Recap: Michael Davidson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Westminster over Mountain Range

Westminster lost against Mountain Range back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westminster Wolves took a 64-50 bruising from the Mountain Range Mustangs. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westminster lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Michael Davidson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Westley Trout, who posted ten points.

Mountain Range's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeramiah Chavez led the charge by going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and six rebounds. Moses West was another key player, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 16 boards.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Mountain Range, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-12.

As of now, neither Westminster nor Mountain Range have any future games scheduled.
