Spanish River lost to Martin County back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Sharks came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Eloise Baum paced Spanish River's offense, picking up six kills. Baum got some help from Ryland O'Neal and her ten assists. Finally, Amelie Fortinho and Maggie Wolf kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Spanish River's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Martin County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Spanish River is on the road again on Saturday to play St. Johns Country Day at 8:00 a.m. As for Martin County, they will square off against Braden River at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
