Basketball Recap: Riverbank Takes a Loss

Riverbank fought the good fight in their overtime game against Delhi on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 71-64 loss to the Delhi Hawks. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.

Riverbank's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Delhi, they moved to 5-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Riverbank will face off against McNair at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delhi, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Orestimba at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
