There's no place like home for Eastbrook, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Madison-Grant Argylls with a sharp  11-1 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Carter Daugherty was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. He has become a key player for Eastbrook: the team is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 3-5 otherwise. Daugherty was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Kyler Hackman was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with seven  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Malakai Luthy was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Eastbrook  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Madison-Grant only posted  an  OBP of  .364.
Eastbrook now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Madison-Grant,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
 Coincidentally, Eastbrook and Madison-Grant will both be playing Wabash the next time they take the field. The Argylls will head out to face the Apaches at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Panthers will  host them  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
