While Amador Valley's win against Livermore wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cowboys 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Amador Valley who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-13, 22-25, 15-13.

Amador Valley pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Livermore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Amador Valley has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Manteca on the 29th. As for Livermore, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dublin at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
