Basketball Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dreyfoos School of the Arts on Monday, Forest Hill came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 48-39 to the Port St. Lucie Jaguars on Tuesday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Port St. Lucie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryan Desgrottes, who posted 17 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Sylvain, who earned 12 points and seven rebounds.

Forest Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Hill will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Jensen Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will welcome Morningside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
