Avalon barely beat Coolidge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 28-10 victory on Tuesday. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Avalon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Coolidge, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Avalon will take on Cross Roads at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coolidge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinidad at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
