Volleyball Recap: Hendersonville Falls Despite Big Games from Allie James and Natalie Walker

Hendersonville lost against Oakland back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Commandos fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1.

Hendersonville's loss came despite strong showings from Natalie Walker and Allie James. Walker had 11 digs and one assist, while James had seven digs.

Among those leading the charge was Stella Logan, who had 15 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Hendersonville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oakland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Hendersonville and Oakland will both be playing Greenbrier the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Commandos will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
