Softball Recap: Pahranagat Valley Has No Trouble Against Mountain View Christian

While Pahranagat Valley put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Mountain View Christian. The Panthers blew past the Saints 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hadee Walch made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Walch was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alivia Walch, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Mylah Stout was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Pahranagat Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View Christian only posted an OBP of .100.

Pahranagat Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mountain View Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Pahranagat Valley will be playing at home against Awaken Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View Christian, they will head out to take on Beatty at 1:00 p.m. on the 14th.
