Soccer Game Preview: Hercules vs. Swett

The Hercules Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Swett Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hercules' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Wednesday, Hercules came up short against Kennedy and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Hercules have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Swett came up short against Emerald on Monday, falling 7-2.

Alex Chambers and John Godoy scored both of the Warriors' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Hercules' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Swett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything went Hercules' way against Swett in their previous meeting on January 6th, as Hercules made off with a 6-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
