Carmel posted their closest win since April 19th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Corsairs in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won five in a row.

Carmel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Carmel's win bumped their record up to 7-24. As for Nazareth Academy, they dropped their record down to 8-24 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home.

Carmel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chicago Mt. Carmel on the 14th. As for Nazareth Academy, they will host Saint Viator at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
