Softball Preview: Strasburg Rams vs. Rappahannock County

Everything went their way against Stonewall Jackson as they made off with a 12-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Ava Mayhew made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.
