Crawford stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Moody Bearcats as the Crawford Pirates made off with a 12-2 victory. The win was familiar territory for Crawford who now have four in a row.
For Moody's part, Tucker Staton was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Moody, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moody, they will head out on the road to take on Valley Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
