Winter Haven has gone 8-1 against Ridge Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will square off against the Bolts at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Winter Haven gave up the first runs last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lake Wales 7-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Ridge Community had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let Haines City get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bolts, who have now won five games in a row.

Edger Olmeda looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Adrian Cuadrado, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Deniel Serrano, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Ridge Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Ridge Community's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Winter Haven, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Everything went Winter Haven's way against Ridge Community in their previous meeting back in March, as Winter Haven made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
