Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Carsyn Krause and Kamryn Anderson Lead Luther to Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Luther rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Wautoma Hornets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Luther walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Leading Luther to victory were Kamryn Anderson and Carsyn Krause. Anderson had 14 digs and six assists, while Krause had three digs and two aces. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Luther was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.

Luther's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Wautoma, their loss dropped their record down to 18-16.

Luther didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Richland Center on the 25th. Wautoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
