MacArthur is 9-1 against Eisenhower since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The MacArthur Generals will welcome the Eisenhower Eagles at 6:30 p.m. MacArthur has given up an average of 5.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

MacArthur is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 12-3 to Vidor.

MacArthur saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miranda Machado, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Machado launched this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eisenhower). They were the clear victor by a 26-11 margin over Benjamin Davis on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Eisenhower's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

Everything went MacArthur's way against Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as MacArthur made off with a 13-3 victory. Will MacArthur repeat their success, or does Eisenhower have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
